We have completed a further important step in the development of traction solutions: after more than 1 year of research and development the series of lithium batteries with LIFEPO4 technology called EK-H, intended for applications for electric and hybrid traction. After being previewed at Bauma, it is finally available to the market.
3 models now avaiable: 48V 100AH – 5KWh / 48V 200AH – 10KWh / 48V 300AH – 15 KWh with the following main features:
– Integrated software for current generator management with REAL TIME regenerative current reference for correct recharging
– Generator start request via CANBUS
– Current modulation for recharging adequate to the state of the batteries
– Standard 0-80% charge cycle management and special complete charge cycle
– Integration with PLC / ECU on board via CANBUS
Batteries can be combined to hybrid motors such as the K-HEM series from KHOLER and other generators equipped with generative current control via CANBUS. In this field our company has already realized batteries for hybrid vehicles. Since 2016 we have built hybride vehicle batteries from 48V to 600Volt DC.
LIFEPO4 technology allows to improve battery durability and autonomy and works very well with partial recharge cycles, allowing the vehicle designer to manage the recharging logics and Energy Balance / Power Balance necessary to size the hybrid system, both self-charging and plug-in. Is always recommended to recharge any hybrid vehicle using a wall charger to obtain better results in terms of battery life and to reduce time and consumption of recharging with an internal combustion engine.
