ELSA SOLUTIONS COMPENSATE DIRECT CO2 EMISSIONS

We are proud to announce this new project: ELSA SOLUTIONS WILL 100% COMPENSATE ITS OWN DIRECT CO2 EMISSIONS thus reducing its Carbon footprint.

Reports from the IPCC-Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the United Nations body for change climate change, they speak for themselves: from 2010 to 2019 the average annual emissions of greenhouse gases globally reached highest peak in the history of mankind. It is necessary to limit global warming to 1.5 ° C by reducing emissions in all sectors, above all electrifying transport, and resorting to tools for removing Co2 from the atmosphere (reforestation, production of bioenergy …).

Elsa Solutions has therefore established a collaboration with Treedom, the first certified B Corporation platform which allows you to plant a tree from a distance. In fact, trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide thus improving the quality of the air and helping to lower temperatures.

The project will make it possible to achieve the ambitious result of fully offsetting direct CO2 emissions by Elsa Solutions, through a multi-year plan to plant trees in Latin America and Africa.
Elsa Solutions’ total direct emissions related to buildings, production and employee mobility (work and commute) will thus be compensated.

What struck us most is that this project will not only involve our environmental impact, but it will also allow local communities to receive funding, food resources and economic opportunities: yes they will take care of our trees and enjoy their fruits.
